57Nord

57Nord is a small studio community in Offenbach’s north end, in Domstraße 57 to be precise – in the backyard, of course. The cosy 40 square metre space is home to photographer Herr Walther and upcycling artist Frank Ludwig (Upcycring).

The studio space is usually used for exhibitions and workshops, but occasionally small concerts are organised. The room is equipped with a projector and sound system. All performances at 57Nord are free of charge.

At the 2026 festival, we showed three short films and a Wim Wenders classic there. On the one hand, the documentary reel ‘Lights, Camera, Activism’ will be shown on Friday and the ‘Long Short Film Night’ on Saturday. On Sunday, there will be a matinee at noon with a communal meal and the classic LISBON STORY, as well as our selection of medium-length films and a live performance by Darmstadt musician Julakim.
