At the first LusOFest, we will be showing short films by filmmakers from the Rhine-Main region, together with international productions from the Portuguese-speaking world. The short films submitted had to be under 20 minutes long (we did, however, also tolerate some small exceeding runtimes in this particular programme.

At 57Nord, we will be showing a selection of activist short films – mainly documentaries – that present various initiatives or movements, or open up a view on social or societal problems. Admission to this session is free. The short films in the ‘Lights, Camera, Activism’ reel will compete for the LusOFest audience award.
