At the finale of the first LusOFest Short Film Award, we will be showing short films by filmmakers from the Rhine-Main region together with international short film productions from the Portuguese-speaking world. The short films submitted had to be less than 20 minutes long and have a connection to the Rhine-Main region or a Portuguese-speaking country (language, production). Apart from that, competition entries were accepted from all disciplines (fiction, animation, documentary, experimental).
Two prizes will be awarded at the first edition of LusOFest. All short films shown in the three competition screenings (Lights Camera Activism, Long Short Film Night, Final) will take part in the competition for the LusOFest Audience Award. The programme selected by the LusOFest team for the final screening on Sunday evening will also take part in the competition for the jury prize.
