The medium-length film is a unique category. The runtime for this format is not strictly defined. For us, it includes films between 20 and 60 minutes long, thus complementing our short films which run up to 20 minutes. This format allows stories and ideas to be told on a different scope and pacing. This year marks the first time the medium-length category is being presented at LusOFest. The screening will be accompanied by short performances before and after the films by the singer-songwriter Julakim from Darmstadt.

The program will be presented in two blocks with a short break and brief Q&A sessions where applicable. Before and after the screening, the Darmstadt-based musician Julakim will perform a selection of songs from her solo program.
