Rail replacement service (SEV) due to tunnel closure in Offenbach during our summer short film session on 13 & 14 June 2025

If you are planning to travel by S-Bahn, please note that the OF-Ledermuseum station will not be served by trains on Friday night (from 9:30 p.m.) on 13 June 2025 and throughout Saturday, 14 June 2025. Instead, replacement bus services will be provided, which do not allow bicycles on board. The rail replacement service offers trips to and from the stations Frankfurt-Konstablerwache, Frankfurt Airport and Offenbach Ost. There are also additional trips to Offenbach Central Station with the S1 (from Rödermark-Oberroden) and the S8 (from Wiesbaden and Frankfurt Süd). To plan your journey to and from the event using public transport, we recommend checking the online RMV timetable information or taking a look at the (German) PDF overview of the tunnel closure. (You can also ask us for help on site!)

Like the Filmklubb Offenbach, 57Nord is located in a backyard. The shared studio space is located in the rear building of Domstraße 57, 63067 Offenbach, near the corner of Berliner Straße and Kaiserstraße in the city centre. The best way to get there is as follows:

With the S-Bahn

S-Bahn lines S1, S2, S8 and S9 run regularly from Wiesbaden, Mainz, Frankfurt and Hanau to Offenbach. The nearest S-Bahn stop is “Ledermuseum Offenbach”, from where it is about a 6-minute walk to the 57Nord. From the exit in front of the CinemaxX multiplex, cross the street and follow Berliner Straße to the right until you reach Domstraße, where you make a sharp left turn and follow it. Regional night services are provided by S-Bahn lines S1, S2 and S8, which run hourly.

From the S-Bahn station “Offenbach Kaiserlei” it is 5 minutes by bike (1 km) or about 15 minutes on foot (there are buses to the West and East exits). From the Offenbach exit, follow Berliner Straße towards the city centre until you reach Domstraße.

By train

Offenbach Central Station is served by regional trains from Fulda, Würzburg, Wächtersbach, Erbach, Bamberg, as well as from Frankfurt South and Central Station. During night-time operations, a few S-Bahn trains also run via Offenbach Central Station. From Offenbach Central Station, you can reach Domstraße 57 in about 15 to 20 minutes on foot. You can shorten the journey slightly by taking a bus. Leave the station via the main entrance on the Bismarckstraße side, walk down Kaiserstraße and continue for around 600 metres towards the city centre. Once Kaiserstraße crosses Berliner Straße, you will see Domstraße 57, which branches off diagonally not far from the intersection.

With the bike

The Nord57 has good access to cycle paths and can be easily reached from Berliner Straße, which is also a cycle route. Coming from Frankfurt, Domstraße is on the left, coming from Offenbach Marktplatz on the right. Parking is available in the surrounding area and in the backyard.

With the Offenbach buses

The closest bus stops are “Offenbach (Main)-Zentrum Ludwigstraße/Ledermuseum” and “Offenbach (Main)-Zentrum Rathaus”, which can be reached by taking the bus routes 102, 103, 120, 551 or the X97 (the express bus from Bad Vilbel). The N65 night bus leaves Offenbach Rathaus shortly after 2 a.m. for Frankfurt city centre.

With the car

The 57Nord is located in the city centre (Nordend), with the Berliner Straße/Domstraße car park in the immediate vicinity, which is often very full. The Mainufer car park is a 10-minute walk away and always has parking available.

With the taxi

Taxi-Funk Offenbach can be contacted on 069-80451 and via the major taxi apps. The Offenbach taxi service is fast, efficient and available around the clock. Radio taxis can pick up passengers from anywhere in the city centre within minutes and take them to or from 57Nord.
