Viva Portugal examines the period of transition to democracy in Portugal after the Carnation Revolution of 1974 and lets those involved have their say.
The documentary film, made by Frankfurt director Malte Rauch together with Christiane Gerhards and Samuel Schirmbeck, turns 50. We will be showing the classic in an intimate setting at 57Nord over a shared meal. Admission is free, but we welcome donations and registrations via this form (to estimate the required ingredients). We will be preparing a vegan feijoada.
You are also welcome to help with the cooking beforehand. If you feel like it, you can join us at 57Nord from 11:30am to chop and peel before the film starts.
